The Collegibles Team has already featured a wide range of college stereotypes – from business-minded individuals, athletic buffs, musicians, jetsetters, head-turning chinitos / chinitas / morenos / morenas / mestizos / mestizas and it is a blunder if we won’t feature any Geek!

Lorenzo Ignacio, or Iggy, may seem like your run-of-the-mill school nerd. You’re right about one thing – he is a geek. Well, at least that’s how he sees himself, but Collegibles believes there’s a lot more to this guy than being the regular class nerd.

What makes this Collegible stand out from the flock of nerds is his chill-artsiness. Iggy retains an aura of interesting mystery that will make you continuously want to know more about him–what could be playing in his iPod, what he could be seeing through his black-rimmed glasses, or simply what he could be thinking when he flashes his big welcoming smile.

Nikka Arcilla

First of all, sorry for the delay of posts! Hell week month has made us preoccupied with papers, reports and tests, and now we are backlogged! Now you know that the masterminds behind this website are students too!

Probably as of now, you very well know that here in Collegibles, it is not enough for a person to be good-looking to be legitimately called a Collegible. Good looks must not be the one and only quality that a person possesses to be rightfully be bestowed that “title”. Today, we feature a senior gal who is beautiful and more.

She is beautiful, she is smart, she is athletic, and she is Nikka. Nikka is the kind of gal who knows what she wants and she gets it through determination and hardwork. This is the reason why she consistently excels in academics and in marketing contests (her team was one of the finalist’s in the prestigious L’Oreal Brandstorm) that she joins. She was also part of the Ateneo Track team before and this shows that she has a sound mind in a sound body.

Perhaps, it is because of Nikka’s excellence why boys get intimidated to court her. But don’t be afraid because she is also one perky and fun-loving individual who you can easily approach.

Mikael Daez

We never really knew what the product of tall, dark, and handsome put together would be, especially here in the Philippines where Filipinos are mostly just either dark and er, tall? But we’ve finally met someone who has shown us that the tall, dark, and handsome really do exist! Sadly, most of the time, people like Mik are only known for their good looks, But what is he like as a subjective human being? (Philo much?)

Cel Hernandez

Here in Collegibles, we like to feature beautiful low-key individuals who may not be known by many but are unquestionably beautiful. These low-key individuals are like hidden gems that are just waiting to be unraveled.

Celina Hernandez, or Cel to her friends, may not be a familiar name and be the obvious choice to model in org events and parties, but she doesn’t need the popularity to affirm that she is beautiful. She is simple, quiet, and humble and she is a manifestation of the saying “true beauty never shouts”. Her porcelain-like skin and rosy cheeks are often subject to reactions like “What is your make-up?” or “What is your beauty regimen?” and people get surprised to know that she doesn’t put make up nor has a secret beauty regimen.

She looks and acts like an angel, making people think that she is one innocent, naive and clueless girl. However, contrary to this is the fact that she is street-smart and has a strong business acumen for she already manages her own business and she also helps out in the family business. Cel can also draw well and a sample of one of her drawings is posted below her profile (she gave this drawing to support her friend in the swim team and this shows how sweet she is!).

Marco Tarog

There are people who, like an ugly duckling, need time to develop their allure, while some are simply born with it. One such person is Marco, who never needed to exert effort to look good because he is effortlessly attractive.

But beyond his personal appearance, this particular cutie is undeniably talented in music as he plays the guitar and sings as the back-up vocalist for Jane’s Band. (Yes, he is Eric’s bandmate, one of our previously featured Collegible). If you are a music junkie, you might just find your musical interests compatible with his. He prefers genres ranging from alternative to blues and the 70′s music and artists such as John Mayer, BB King, Michael Jackson and Wes Montgomery.

El Ong

Most of the time, men feel a sense of intimidation when beautiful girls pass by them. Common reactions would be “that girl is high-maintenance” or “she might be masungit or suplada”. But this is not the case for all because El Ong is one of those who do not radiate that kind of aura commonly displayed by girls who have bewitching good looks. And since El is not caught up with the fact that she is pretty, she does not act like a princess of a higher order and supreme entity. She does not sashay down the hallways with the “Look-I-am-pretty” vibe. And this is what the Collegibles Team likes about her!

Aren Pe

Traveling is fun because you get to see breathtaking sights and learn something new about a different culture. It is in traveling that memorable experiences are created and so isn’t it just fitting to share this experience with someone special who you can hold hands with while marveling at beautiful landmarks?

If you find the idea of visiting to different places exciting, you might be the perfect travel companion to our Suave Jetsetter who has already been to 21 countries. In his Junior Term Abroad in Oslo, Norway, he was able to soak in a different culture and develop a love for the European way of life. But aside from being able to visit many different countries, Aren has rightfully earned his title as the Suave Jetsetter because he travels in style! He knows his fashion well, a mark of a true jetsetter!

It is sad that in Aren’s last visit to Paris, the City of Lights and what is touted to be the most romantic place on earth, he had no one to hold hands with or smooch the French way. He was drowned in the sea of sweet couples. So girls, will you make Aren happy and special by holding his hand the next time he is in Paris?

Sabs Bengzon

Make way for our eccentric beauty as she skims and surfs through the waves of the Ateneo sea. With surfing and skim boarding as her hobbies, Isabel “Sabs” Bengzon is fit (and right?) and ready for any adventure! So if you’re the type of guy who’s into outdoors and doesn’t really want to take a whiny girl with you, then Sabs is the perfect companion. And while you’re on your way, you can always talk to Sabs about a whole lot of other things like art, music, and all the traveling experiences that she’s had over the years.

Now don’t you just wonder why Sabs is still a Collegible? But if I were you, I’d stop wondering and run (or rather swim) fast because, as they say, there are many little fishies in the sea. And surely, Sabs has a whole school of them waiting for her to swim by!

Nico Lumauig

It is quite funny that we haven’t featured any morenos yet despite the abundant cutie morenos in campus. To clear things, we don’t have a bias for mestizos/mestizas and chinitos/chinitas, it is just that we haven’t bumped into the perfect pogi moreno in the busy hallways. But alas, the wait is over for those who are requesting for morenos because we have already found the Moreno Hearthrob – Nico Lumauig!

Despite his good looks, he remains to be part of the SSB Club – the “Single Since Birth” Club that is. Perhaps, with this Collegibles feature, the tables will turn as single ladies will go after him!

Julienne Raboca

Tired of living the boring student life? Can’t wait to get out of the classroom or the library and have a little more fun? Then see how compatible you are with our next Collegible!

Julienne Raboca, also known as “Yeni”, can turn any dull moment or boring task into fun fun fun! This party doll is always game for anything from playing Rock Band to dancing for presentations. As proof, while she was an exchange student in France, she was more than willing to present and dance in front of numerous international students to represent the Philippines.

Don’t be mistaken though! Yeni may seem like your usual party girl, but she is certainly a lot more. This sociable morena is capable of carrying an intelligent conversation for hours and has a knack for turning papers, presentations and events into something very interesting through her countless innovative ideas.
